Mobile shell 3.5.3= no X button
 

I have looked at all the other threads and could not find anything out. Yesturday I went to a Sprint store for an issue with my Video out, and they hard reset my phone, and still didn't fix it, which I should have know better.
but anyway sio I downloaded Mobile shell again and the new version does not have X button, is there something missing, is that the way 3.5.3 is or what? I do have X button with out Mobile Shell

yea i found this out after dl that version .. for the small time i tried that buggy a$$ mobile shell version i had to DL a task manager & also the htc menus werent in that 1 either but theres a fix for that sum where as well here on the site

works fine here. task manager is built into mobile shell, you probably just dont know what your doing with it. try exploring, work very very well on stock rom.

what version are you running ? i know when i gave spb m.s. a chance that build didnt have a task manager built into it. but idc cuz i ditched m.s. cuz it made my phone unstable. to each his own though. enjoy!

I'm not worried about the task manager, I am wondering about the lack of X button.

Put a today widget on your main MS panel. That'll dump you out of MS.

when you say the lack of the X button, are you talking about the different SPB MS screens? because you have that back arrow softkey on the bottom right of your screen. there is no x button for the spb ms screens. unless i run an app/program, then that's when i see the x button to close out.

Yeah, if all you're doing is trying to get back to the today screen, then the above would work, but I don't know why you would need the X when you're in the main screen of MS? It's there for me on every OTHER screen but the home screen... which makes sense, since I don't want to close the home screen...

Duuuuuuuuuudes, yes the 3.5.3 hides the task manager, that is the X @ top right corner. No mas, gone , finito when u use 3.5.3 You can use the spb task mgr which is a Widget, dowload a new task mgr (wont show in the corner...)
As for me, phuk it I am using 3.5 and am ok with it so I can keep the htc task mgr. 3.5.3 doesnt bring me any new functionlity or jack but take away the TM:mrgreen:
