Wouldn't messing with the battery polling interval possibly cause you to think your battery was higher, when in reality it was just "behind" the actual battery drain?

Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

Reuploaded the cab in my post
I had 3 keys out of place. If you used my cab, navigate to:

HKLM/Drivers

and delete the following keys

1) Battery
2) Error Reporting
3) Gsensor

I don't think they will hurt anything if they are there. They were in my registry for a few days. Just incase you want to delete them. The new cab has those keys in the correct location.

I'm not sure how often the batery is polled, but after reducing the polling my battery does last longer.

Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

I'm pretty confused, when I open my Battery Monitor, it says my Discharge is 78.. So now I just reopened it and it says 50!

What am I doing wrong?

Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

Interestingly enough, the other day the battery drained out despite being plugged into a USB port that I usually use to charge. It took over an hour, plugged into my car charger before it would even turn on again. It was bad enough that I ended up re-flashing to MightyRom War, and saw a noticeable battery improvement. A shame, as I really liked Energy.

Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

i've discovered that on my phone, the problem is just running the bluetooth stack. nothing else.

on one occasion, i was driving with the phone plugged in and charging and the battery drained down to almost nothing! i was using google maps and bluetooth stack. i turned off google and data services and the phone was hardly charged up after an hour of charging. i turned off the blue tooth stack and the battery charge jumped up to the green level (i'm using vistahide battery guage program) within 5 minutes.

when i returned home, i turned off all but the phone stack, fully charged the battery on the wall outlet charger, and when the battery charge status light turned green, i unplugged it from the charger. that was at midnight exactly. i'm entering this reply at 8:08 PDT, normal (for me) phone calls and texting and battery level is at 93%.

tonight, i'm going to repeat this process of charging and when done i'm going to turn on the blue tooth stack. my calculated guess is that as soon as i unplug it from the charger, within 5 minutes, the battery level will have dropped 5%.

i've tried the original sprint bluetooth stack from the |R|6.5.5|ROM|WWE| ★ Energy "Leo" 23542/21892 |Mar 7| ★ Sense 2.5.2012 / MaxManila thread. it made no difference.

i'll edit this post tomorrow with an update.

i hope this will help some one else.
