S2U2 v2.30 Slow as Balls

I was using v2.04 for a while and was pretty happy with it.

I recently installed v2.30 and it appears to run much slower.

That is: the slider movement is choppy and sometimes the swipes don’t register if I swipe quickly.

Anyone else notice this?

:)

I'm running v2.30 and haven't had any problems. Try switching display mode in andvaced settings. Mine is set at rawbuffer.

I finally had to bail on S2U2, which I loved, but dealt with too many performance glitches from version to version. I ponied up for Pocketshield and haven't regretted it. As for your situation, just back rev to v2.04.

This appears to speed things up some. Thanks!

Can you elaborate in what the differences are between the display settings?

*RawBuffer is the fastest but may not be accessible in some devices.
*DirectDraw is the second fast but usually does not work in old devices
*GDI is the most compatible but the slowest.

Any more of a battery drain than the other?

With the TP2 I don't think there would be much of drain difference between the settings. Milage may vary on different devices however.
