Explanation of Database Volume Files

Whenever I run a backup on Sprite for some reason it comes up with 'Warnings' saying that it could not backup certain database volumes (mxip_system.vol and mxip_lang.vol)

Could anyone explain what these and the other database volumes mean? I know there is also mxip_initdb.vol, mxip_notify.vol, and mxip_swmgmt.vol, but the only one I am familiar with is pim.vol as far as personal information...if I am getting ready to flash MightyRom War is this going to cause a problem with restoring? My only main concerns are personal information like contacts and calender appointments and texts

thanks in advance

Re: Explanation of Database Volume Files

I would hope, if you are flashing that you are only looking to restore contact info! The files specified are not an issue, as they are just metabase volumes which you should not need to restore anyway.
