Teathering Internationally
Hi, is it safe for me to tether internationally without getting billed?
Couple of things... 1) I have a company phone so I do not have access to the bill so "try it for a day and check your account" is not an option for me 2) My phone has an Unlimited Global Data plan 3) I installed the Stealth Cab and the hotfix cab 4) I typically only tether using the wifi router found over on xda Thanks |
Re: Teathering Internationally
Recently I tried to use PDAnet and it failed. I was afraid to do what you suggested. I got billed for help calls from Sprint and still trying to get them off.... We really need a sticky on international in general.

Re: Teathering Internationally
that's what im worried about. im set to go out of the country for a month next month. although i don't think i'll be using it at all, it's still a comfort to know that this would've worked if i needed instant connection on my laptop.

Re: Teathering Internationally
I did not get charged for tethering (did not use it) but rather for the Sprint service calls! When phone did not work called the approved number and was not charged, but was charged when they called me back.... charges still there after a week of complaining.
