TP2 Messaging App

The stock SMS/MMS app blows. If you want to mass text you have to select your contacts one at a time. It also feels clunky and boring.

Can any one suggest an alternative?

You can install the cab below and it will remove the Manila messaging app and replace it with the default Windows Messaging app

If mass texting is a priority, then I would suggest PowerSMS.

I like VITO SMS. It's a lot faster than the built in poutlook SMS.

Even does iPhone-like "push notifications".

how odd. i use vito for mass texting only and when i turn the app on it erases the registry key turning off sms no alert....

I downloaded the PowerSMS app but i cant locate it on my phone. i know it made a minor change to my contacts. did i do something wrong?
