data call failure 11
 

alright guys, i left my phone on and hooked up last night, but when i picked it up this morning, it keeps on popping up that i have a data call failure code 11, and then under that it says ppp connection error. its worked fine untill just last night. any one gotta fix?

I have the same problem. I wonder if Verizon did something...

Same thing happened to me just now. I opened connections and for Verizon Wireless #777 I retyped in my name and password:

Name: phone number@vzw3g.com
Password: vzw

Saved then soft reset and all seems to be back to normal

Dont know what caused the issue though.

Worked for me too. I did a *228 and updated the software on my phone last night, I wonder if that caused it.

No i think something just happened with Verizon. I couldnt get on anything.

Engadget and Gizmodo are reporting that there is/was a nationwide data failure. Seems to be mostly over though.

same thing happend to me this morning as well(manhatten area) and soft resetting did fix the problem

thanks guys for the information, i ran the carrier provisioning and called *228 but neither worked and then, it just started working :):headbang:
