Noob question help!
 

I just purchased a touch pro 2 from a guy on craigslist.The phone is running widows 6.5, I want to restore it back to 6.1 is there any possible way to do that? TThanks alot

2) Plug in your phone via usb cable (select activesync) - Make sure you have activesync/windows mobile device center installed on your pc

3) run the .exe you downloaded.

is it unlocked? and if so go find a rom that is 6.1 for your carrier

i download the file and made sure i have windows mobile device center but its giving me a ERROR(260): CONNECTIONS it says my phone is not connected when it is when i connect my phone it i choose active sync . then run the .exe. Is there something more i have to do?

Open WMDC and make sure it says connected.

Im not sure i have the correct WMDC im using WMDC 6.1 can anyone point me in the right direction

What OS are you running on your computer, if it's XP your going to have active sync and if it's Vista/7 you have WMDC. You can also back out into the upgrades section and flash it from your sd card. Do you have anything come up on your computer screen when you plug in the USB cord? Better yet, did you get the instruction booklet with the phone, IIRC it explains how to get the correct software onto the computer to sync with your phone.

The stock sprint rom sucks anyway...you're probably better off...

The thing is that im not able to connect to internet or receive picture mail . I called sprint and they said i need to go back to 6.1 in order for my phone to function correctly.
