Not receiving calls or texts after changing ROMS

Ever since I've flashed from stock to MightyROM, I've gotten complaints of not picking up my phone or replying to texts. I have noticed a decrease as well, has any one had this problem since flashing? I've flashed back to my stock, (un)locked and flashed many times.

Re: Not receiving calls or texts after changing ROMS

are you still using mightyrom? if so, might want to clear memory, flash back to stock, and see if the problem persists. if it resolves, then redo the flash and see if the problem comes back.
might try posting under the custom rom forum for better answers.

Re: Not receiving calls or texts after changing ROMS

i had this happen to me on my latest flash. call yourself with someone elses phone and see if it gives you an activation message. i had to call #8899 (on Verizon) and ask them to re-authorize my phone. not sure if Sprint uses the same system or not though.

and the re-authorization is different than the activation. i usually got the activate notice every other flash, but finally just got the authorization error.

Unhappy Re: Not able to make calls after changing ROMS

Hi Guys,

I've also had this happen to me on each of the last 4 times that I have upgraded my ROM. In my case I'm not able to make calls. Each time I get the message "we are unable to validate your phone. If this issue persists please call #8899". On the nmost recent occassion I called Verizon on a land line and they instructed me to call ##778 to reprogram the phone. However, that did not work at all so in the end the tech fixed once again remotely.

I'm running the latest Blackout ROM and I always reload the latest Verizon stock ROM to preserve the current radio and then hard reset, load the new ROM and then hard reset, all of the time with my SDD card out of the phone.

This issue appears to be a relatively recent issue as I have updated my ROM on many occassions before with no subsequent call issues. Help and comment from any one would be much appreciated.
