Sprint Roaming Question!

Hey guys, I apparently got charged 19 bucks for roaming, and i have no idea why. Does the internet tethering option cause this? When i plugged it into the comp, i clicked "use phone as modem"

I am running MightyRom LOVE, which i assumed had stealth tethering built in. I'm not sure however.

Now for my question... how do i turn off roaming in 6.5.3? I went to comm manager-> phone settings -> CDMA services-> Network Service
The options that show up are
Home-only, Automatic A, Automatic B, Standard, Roaming Only.

I think the home-only is the no roaming option, equivalent to the "Sprint Only" settings on standard sprint roms. Can anybody confirm this for me? 19 bucks is wayy too much to pay for roaming

Thanks for the help guys! i love ppcgeeks. xD

Re: Sprint Roaming Question!

home only is the proper setting for no roaming. Tethering would show up as data charges not roaming. I suggest calling sprint and they can give an explanation of the charge because every plan they have thats been available in the past 5 years has roaming included.

Re: Sprint Roaming Question!

Yeah, def contact Sprint. Roaming and teathering shouldn't have anything to do with each other. As stated above, all Sprint plans now include roaming at no additional charge.

Re: Sprint Roaming Question!

are you sure it's not international roaming? my brother's girlfriend got charged for international roaming in detroit because it bounced off a canadian tower, i guess. sprint reversed the charges, however
