how freaking annoying is this???

when replying to a sms msg. u tap on screen and it ta takes u to the reply screen, u type a long as msg, and instintively ur thumb taps the left soft key, than doooohhhhh!! u see its the BACK button and not the SEND. is there neone who knows how to fix this its really annoying. thanks in advance.

u mean in touch flo text ? i ufkin hate that! it doesnt even go into drafts ... wish i had a remedy ..

try disableing htc messaging.i hate that the send button on windows msging is the back button on htc msging

I know how you feel. But have you yet tried MightyRom's Impact ROM? Its strictly based with HTC Messaging, but its a completly new interface from the stock Sprint ROM. You should give it a shot.

I believe your message goes into drafts. You can open it back up and hit the correct send button.
I use the naked sms standard app for everything. It's kind of broken in Calkulin's roms/kitchen right now but I prefer it over the HTC flavor

also my phone is way more responsive than the op's. you could also try changing youre repeat delay on the button taps. i think that is a stock option..

thanks for quick response, i tried ur .cab unfortunately it causes screen to become distorted in landscape view, i have Mighty Rom released/updated 2/04/2010, not sure if its the Impact one, also i kind of like the HTC messaging interface would just like to change that damn back button to send!

MightyRom's are the best for messaging in my opinion. I have come to conlusion that the reason why the HTC Messaging client has it set as the "Back" button is because when cooks found the HTC Messaging client for the Touch Pro 1, the hardkey "Back" button didnt work in messaging, so they created a softkey "Back" button in the actuall GUI. Thus when the client was ported to the Touch Pro 2, they kept it like that. Theres many reasons why thats there.
