GSM data on CDMA TP2

I am playing around with a CDMA TP2 and I'm trying to get an iWireless SIM card to work on it. I have the voice and text working fine after I unlocked the radio, but I can't seem to get the DATA working. I'm not really familiar with the DATA side of things so any help would be appreciated!

Re: GSM data on CDMA TP2

What exactly do you mean by gsm? Because gsm is the modulation used of sim card providers. Did you mean data?

i had this working on my phone a few months ago, but with all the recent ROM updates i have not reconfigured;

i will look into it in greater detail and let you know, but in the meantime try to get the data settings from your GSM provider;

1.name
password
apn settings ( eg. internet.fido.ca for FIDO in Canada);

2.once you have this info you put the phone into GSM mode, go into settings, connections and <make a new connection>

I am a little rusty on the exact details but will look into it and update this thread;

Good Luck!

EDIT: thanks to isdnmatt;

The settings are under the Connections tab.. then tap Connections... then tap existing connections. There should be 3 entries Auto-pick, your CDMA connection, then your GSM connection.

If the GSM connection isnt there, just touch New and input the settings you posted.
