Re: Phone Cuts on In Belt Case
Use Pocket Shield. Its arguably one of the best locking apps out. You can set a timer on the app to automatically turn the phone off if no physical action is done to unlock it.

I purchase Pocketshield and it seems to have a lot of nice features but the gesture utilties for unlocking don't work. The slider and stylus removal work and are adequate, but I would like the gestures to work. I calibrated the accelerometer and adjusted the sensitivity but to no avail. Any suggestions? I was having this issue, too, so I went to -->system preferences -->personal --> lock, and turned on the locking feature, set it to 1 hour (you must use a password to unlock). This way, if I am using the phone a lot, it is on my desk or not in my belt, I can sleep the screen without having to "lock it" by turning off the screen and it is readily available. Before I put it in my holster, I simply press the lock button, that way, if it does get accidentally activated, it won't pocket call or turn on any apps. I like this solution better than any of apps out there because it is natively supported in the OS. I do wish that it was gesture based as opposed to a pin, but 4 keys isn't bad. Anyway, I hope this helps, david |

Re: Phone Cuts on In Belt Case
+1 for pocketshield. All of the unlocking features work for me though. If the gesture mode is selected and is not working try a soft reset. If still not working, I would uninstall then reinstall. If it still doesnt work, you can send an email to the developers from within the application, in the settings, the bottom right icon (2 chevrons) opens menu with the option of support and contact.
