disabling Mightyrom update notice

I'm now on Mightyrom's newest version as of Feb 1. I know that the ROM has a built-in update notice when new versions are available. it was a good idea, however, is there a way to disable the notice. Once it alerts you, you can dismiss it but it comes back after a few hours. is there a way to dismiss it for good?

Re: disabling Mightyrom update notice

Step 1) Make the following registry edit:

HKLM\Software\Ziggy\UpdateROMNotify, then change the the 'Disabled' value to 1

Step 2) Delete the startup 'ROMUpdateService' file from the \Windows\Startup directory

Re: disabling Mightyrom update notice

I removed the app from the \windows\startup and did a soft reset. Two alerts in ten minutes was too much for me.
