verizon 6.5 stock bluetooth

I hadn't tried sending files from my laptop to the phone since 6.1. I just tried to do so with 6.5 stock and I can't. I get an error saying the device doesn't have necessary services. What's going on here? Is the new 6.5 stock rom bluetooth lacking something?

I was able to get it to work with macbook laptop which was failing earlier. Win 7 desktop bluetooth still failed to send files. Macbook had to use FTP rather than push file, said device claims it can't do push.

The Touch Pro 2 uses the Widcomm bluetooth stack instead of the Microsoft bluetooth stack. Very few users have been able to send files to/from a pc via bluetooth simply because the stack is different.

There is no current fix available. None of the custom or stock ROMs use the Misrosoft stack as it is virtually impossible to take out one stack and replace it with another

Thanks, did 6.1 stock use microsoft stack?

agreed, none of the new ROMs, cooked or stock, solve the bluetooth issues. I am all for contributing to the bounty.

No. The Touch Pro 2 has always used Widcomm and likely always will
