Strange Problem with using "Send Text message when Phone rings"

Hi,

I have a TP2 on Sprint and have noticed a very strange behavior. When I am already on a call and another call comes in, I get the usual screen with the "Send Text Message" on the bottom left. If I select that to send a message to the second caller that I will call them back, the phone prompltly disconnects the first call. The text message says "Could not be delivered" and then it connects to the SECOND CALLER dropping the first call.

Not what I wanted to do and totally screws up the phone.

Anyone else experience the same behavior? Any suggestions? I have not tried hard-reset yet on the phone ever since I got it, so I am thinking about that as a possible solution. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

PS: I have not tried it when I get a call without the phone being already on a call but I am guessing it would work normally in that case.
