How do I increase Opera tab limit to 5?
 
My stock opera limit is just 2. How do I increase Opera tab limit to 5?

Type Opera:Config in the address bar of your Opera browser, then go to User Prefs. Scroll down to "Maximum Allowed Tabs" and set to your preference.

You'll probably need to do a restart for your changes to take effect.

just to add, you're going to have to do this a couple of times before it sticks. just keep doing what's in post #2, it'll stick after awhile.

that way doesnt always work for some & never worked for me .. using total commander is how i edit the windows folder, opera, opera.ini & change max tabs. theres threads floating around about this

ok, I will try post 2. But is there an instruction on how to make change using total commander? I can't find the thread for this.

total commander is a pain to use, post #2 is easier. you just have to do it maybe 5 times before it sticks. i have 5 on mine like this, just takes a couple tries before it stays.

open total commander. open windows folder. then open opera folder. highlight opera.ini & click the little white square with red pencil looking icon. that will open it up & allow u to edit ... scroll down till max amount of tabs & change it. save it & poof u have 5 tabs. just be sure opera isnt running when u do it
