Rhodium vs Rhodiumw: What is the difference

I have searched the forum and could not find the answer. I think part of it was there was too many hits to filter thought.

What is the difference between and Rhodium and Rohodiumw? How do I tell which one I have? I was looking to cook my on WM6.5 or installing one of the others but wanted to make sure I have the right one. I have a Sprint TP2 and noticed in the past when it booted I got a message about the SIM being unlocked but I do not see that now. From what I have read it looks like you have to run a special unlocker or two unlockers on this phone.

I just want to make sure I do not mess up my new phone by putting the wrong kind of ROM on or using the wrong locker/unlocker

Still confused. This does not help that much because my phone is both for Sprint. I think it runs on the CDMA here the US but GSM when I am travling. Not sure if I understand all I do not know about this phone for Sprint.

rhodium is gsm only but, the RhodiumW is cdma with a gsm radio (its a world phone) it can be unlocked to use other gsm carriers and internationally check this thread!!

The GSM model is GSM only. CDMA model has dual radios and can connect to both CDMA and GSM networks.

EDIT: what he said ^^^

That makes since. Given that my phone is Sprint and it does both then it must be the RhodiumW.

I have not checked out the build versions on the RhodiumW. Anyone know if one is better than another? I will most likley be adding in the SPB Shell stuff so I am wondering if it makes more since to just cook a clean ROM or use one of the existing ones and add the other stuff. I have not used the manilla stuff much but what liltte but I did use I found it be a bit cumbersom.

So, the AT&T Tilt 2 would be a RhodiumW since it is also a world phone?

cdma phones are reffered to as world phones if they have both radios. gsm phones can already work elsewhere on gsm networks

No, because even though GSM is available world wide they don't include CDMA which is available throught the Americas and Carribean. All GSM phones are technically world phones so what would be the point in calling them as such.
