Possible to Create Playlist in Windows Media Player and use with TF3D Music Player?

I'm trying to create playlists on Windows Media Player (on my laptop) and use them in my TF3D music player but am having a little bit of trouble. I made a playlist in WMP then copied that playlist file to my music folder, scrolled over to the music tab and went to playlists, but did not see my playlist there.

Anyone know there's a way to make a playlist from the computer and then use that playlist file with TF3D?

Btw, I meant Sense... not TF3d... I use Sense 2.1 (MightyROM)

Anyone? I've been trying to figure out the same thing and haven't found any references after searching a bunch. the HTC music player works great with my stereo bluetooth headphones, so I want to keep using it. I end up rebuilding my favorite playlists every time I flash, which is becoming a pain.

I know on hte vogue, the audio manager in NFSFAN's rom had an "add to playlist" function in it. I wish that feature could get ported to wvga.

Not exactly what you are looking for - but here is a way of keeping your HTC Playlists afer flashing (http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=101566)

Credit goes to Daemonax for putting me on the right track ... but in a nut shell you:

1. Copy \Application Data\HTC\AudioManager_Eng\AudioManager_Eng.vol to your storage card.
2. Flash
3. Rename the AudioManager_Eng.Vol file to whatever you want (ie: .old)
4. Copy the AudioManager_Eng.Vol file back from the Storage Card to \Application Data\HTC\AudioManager_Eng
5. Reboot... and your playlists will show up as well as your music library.
6. To clean up .. you can delete the renamed .vol file in step 3.

Thanks...this helps. I will do this for now. I guess the newer HTC app doesn't import the playlists that are sitting right next to all my other music files. Hopefully this is just missing functionality from the ROM's I've tried and HTC (or the ROM chef's?) will address it in coming builds.

I use Media Player to sync my music lists from my laptop to TP2 and those playlists show up in the HTC music library playlist tab without my having to do anything else.
