Stock 6.5 ROM for Sprint Touch Pro 2
 

I'm looking for a BASE 6.5 ROM that will work with the Sprint Touch Pro 2. Does anyone know where I can get something that comes close or is the actual BASE ROM?

I'm not talking about a "SPRINT" stock ROM. Just a stock WM6.5 ROM for the Touch Pro 2 that will work on Sprint.

Look in the CDMA upgrade section. There should be a ROM there that comes bare and you can add all the applications you need after you flash it. You have to unlock your phone first, there should be a thread saying how to unlock the phone.

You've got the definition of stock wrong then. Around here, stock means the official ROM from your carrier. So it's correct to say that there is no such thing as what you requested, which is a stock 6.5 ROM for the Sprint Touch Pro 2.

However, if you're looking for a ROM that is close to what the stock 6.5 ROM is likely to look like, there are a number of options. MightyROM is extremely popular and pretty much an improved stock ROM without a whole lot of flair.

As someone previously stated, your best bet is to go into the CDMA section. Download a kitchen of your choice and start from there. I can say that I just used E-Rice's newest kitchen and was able to make a very nice stock-like Sprint ROM from a WinMo 6.5 Base. I would only advise that his manila packages seemed to cause a conflict with Opera Mobile freezing at start but this problem was fixed by using a different manila EXT package. Hope this helps!

Stock WinMo 6.5 is scheduled for Feb. 1 release last I heard.

The most up-to-date Stock 6.5 ROM for our phones that is available is from VZW as far as I know. US Cellular is the only other carrier for CDMA to have an official 6.5 ROM available. I think that most of the kitchens likely have the VZW ROM available as a base if they are using 6.5 as it has the latest drivers available.
