Hi guys, i have a sprint touch pro 2 on stock rom. when i post a status message on facebook from TF3D it says "via Windows Mobile"... my girlfriend has a tmobile tp2 on stock 6.1 and hers says "via HTC Sense". my cousin has a htc hero and hers says "via htc sense" also. how do i make my fone say via htc sense (or something else) instead of just plain boring windows mobile?

ive also noticed other difs between out touch pro 2s, like sprint adds so much extra crap to their rom and tmobiles has move available program memory and storage memory...

They are posting via email and the signature is a result of that.

just use touch.facebook.com site, its so much better than the facebook app.

naah, i know for sure my gf posted via the all contacts tabs in tf3d where it shows FB updates when it shows up as htc sense. and when she goes to the facebook website, her phone shows up as MDA vario or some like that, mine says treo pro lol

lite.facebook.com (or facebook.com/lite) is the best.



Also, I've updated my status via the Facebook app, the "My card" section, and it never says anything. It's as if I updated via the PC. Is it because I'm on a custom rom with WM 6.5.3 & Sense 2.5?

is your gf on sprint too. because i know for a fact that sprint hasnt released the 6.5 which changes the TF3D to htc sense since they changed the name. if your gf is on verison or tmobile they have the upgraded rom so that maybe causing the difference

touch sux. it rele blows the ships captain .. if anything use lite.facebook.com or m.facebook like WHITEBLAZER said ... touch is basura! it doesnt show updates

Because tmobile has released teh upgrade for the stock rom and sprint has not. your sprint tp2 opens opera wow. mine didnt. lol. mine used either internet explorer or some unnamed program. but the phones do have some differences since they are two seperate companies, and their services can handle different things. the stuff isnt huge differences just minor. except the sprint not releasing 6.5 and every other carriering already releasing it.

AFAIK, it displays the "via HTC..." stuff when you update your status from your contact card on under the contacts tab in TF3D. If you update it via the mobile site, it will display as being updated from your mobile, and it says via WM if you update it via the WM Facebook app.
