sprint data only plan

Does anybody have a data only plan with sprint on their TP2?

I know it's unlikely, but I would like to know if you do.

I only use about 50 mins of my 750mins/month!

So I'm thinking, if I could have a Sprint data plan (CDMA) and a pre-pay sim for the odd phone call that I do make I could save myself about 50bucks a month!

I've heard that people have got a sim in their sprint TP2 (sim unlocked I guess) and have incoming/outgoing GSM calls at the same time as the CDMA radio being active.

Re: sprint data only plan

I have a data only plan, it was a promo waaay back when I started as a Nextel customer.

The only thing I can't use is Telnav. Other texting (which I added an unlimited plan for 5.00) and Instant messaging isn't a problem. My tethering speeds are about 1.2 mbps which also seems average.

Got any other questions just let me know.

Re: sprint data only plan

That's good to know thanks.

I'm not sure if you can take out data only plans now though.
Anyone got a data only plan recently?

Re: sprint data only plan

The everything data 450 $69.99 is the best one right now. I too wish they had something smaller, like everything data 200 for $49.99 or something. Ever since the unlimited mobile to mobile came out, I only use about 45 min a month if that. I have a 150 extra anytime min added to any plan I get for free because I tried to quit one time and they offered me that. So a data only plan would be fine for me.

Re: sprint data only plan

I make more VOIP calls than I do normal calls so I could deal with a pay/use plan for calls and just a monthly plan for data also.
But there doesn't seem to be one...
