Re: Best rom battery wise ?

this is one of those questions that is always asked that never gets a straight answer. Just try different roms and see what works best for you.

Re: Best rom battery wise ?

Stock has the best battery.

I've flashed a few ROMs and I think most of the customs running 6.5 with Sense 2.1 are all about the same as far as battery life goes. I can't comment on Sense 2.5 because I think it looks silly and never tried any rom using it. So far the best battery I've gotten on a custom ROM is Freeza's Bare Naked 6.1.

Re: Best rom battery wise ?

Yup, I've had much better battery life on Mighty's rom than I did stock. Maybe not necessarily during periods of heavy use, but I've noticed a big difference in how long it goes between charges when it's sitting idle. I charge it while I'm at work, so I usually leave around 6pm with a full charge. Calls on the way home, some data usage throughout the evening, usually in bed around 11pm. Used to be, if I forgot to plug it in at night, I'd wake up in the morning to a dead phone. Not anymore.

Re: Best rom battery wise ?

Even on Mighty's I still tweak my battery settings & that seems to impsove it even further. I use a reg editor to change HKLM/Drivers/Builtin/Battery/PollInterval from 5000 to 60000 or so.
