Question about flashing and saved files on memory card.

Hey all, I just have a quick question. I've finally decided to flash my TP2 to a ROM and I have wondered how it would work? Do I keep my memory card in while I flash? And if I do, what happens to the files on that memory card? I have mostly just songs on it, but there are about 700, so I would not like to lose them or have to upload all of them back on the phone.

Re: Question about flashing and saved files on memory card.

When you flash a ROM it does not mess with the SD card at all. Some people tend to be safe and pull out their card before the flash just for their own placebo. I have been flashing ROM's for a while now and have never ever pulled my card. :thumbleft: Flash away!

You could even flash from your sd card like I do... I like to flash on the run, theres a thread on the TP2 Upgrade forums on how to do it. Some Rom's like mighty's come in .exe but you can extract it with pocketrar right on your phone.
