TomTom lag fix??

Ok, so iv found all the other threads about the TomTom lag so dont flame me just yet.

Iv tried all the fixs (except gpsgate) but still have massive lag. Garmin and googlemaps work perfect, and iv heard igo8 does also.
All the other threads Iv read were from over 2 months ago so I thought someone might have found an actual fix since I see very little talk about it lately.
Has anyone actually bought the newest version from tomtom? and if so is there also a lag on it? The version I have is completly unusable, driving at 60mph it lags about 3/4 of a mile behind.
I like tomtoms UI better than any other iv tried so I would love to be able to get it working, so I thought I would start a new thread to discuss it.

Hey I found a better soluation to our problem Malrom 01-14-2010 and this cab strra ttn 7.916.9192 this is the best combination for me it even has XDA_UC incorporated into the ROM so it installs all of your cab automatically all you need to do is create a folder called XDA_UC and put your cab in it. This verison of TT has improve rotational features. Which reduce lag time which turning. You can down load it here it also fixes the bluetooth problem so all you need to do is install the cab. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=NDLQX1MN
