Whats your opinion of the Touch Pro 2?
 

I'm planning to get an HTC Touch Pro 2, but i was just curious to know what you thought about the device. Is it all you expected? Please and thank you.

I love it because of its customizability, such as adding whatever ROM I want. I would highly recommend it because it is one of the best phones out right now in the US. The keyboard is really easy to type on.

Thank you for responding. From what i have seen of it i like it as well, but i think it was stupid that HTC didn't attempt to put a 5.0 mp camera on it. Oh well.

for 200$ i think its one of the best phones out there, and definitely if you use a lot of Microsoft products. The phone will sync with your contacts on MS Outlook, has Mobile office to view and edit excel word and powerpoint docs. And will sync with Windows media player for music.

With the keyboard and gorgeous screen its really quite impressive.

Thats for Verizon. But you can get a TP2 from ebay for $300 without a new contract. I did that for my phone. Since he is on Sprint, I would recommend ebay if you feel comfortable with that.

Honestly, the mp on a camera just decides how big the picture can actually be. The quality between a 3.2 mp camera and a 5 mp camera is the exact same on the screen and print (up to a certain size). The quality of the camera itself is more important, and I would say it is decent for a phone.

Hands down the best phone I've ever had. It literally has almost EVERYTHING. Only 2 things that would make it better would be a capacitive touch screen and a dual flash for the camera.

Way better than my old TP, even if it's the same internals. The larger screen size and the better quality keyboard makes a huge difference in useability. My only gripe is the lack of flash. If I could I would replace the camera with a flash LED cause I never use the camera, but used to use my flash ALL the time hahah.

My phone just got me a beer from the kitchen. I had to carry it over there but it led the way. Damn good phone! :laughing6:
