Send Message button not working on Manila 2.5 with WM 6.1

I'm running blackout rom with WM 6.1 and Sense 2.5

I have something broken, when I select a contact card, and hit "Send Message", it does not do anything, but just sits there. I can slide the bottom slider to messages, but that's kinda annoying. Anyone know a fix for this?

It's a phone wide problem, so if I select my favorites to be a text message to my brother, it just wont work.
