SMS not showing up correctly

I' am having issues with my phone every time I receive a txt my msg it appears at the middle part of my phone under received txt msgs. I tried messing around with these settings: received,from, received and subject but i cant get my txt msg to appear at the top of the list of my txt messages.

also under the txt log with a certain person...the date stamp of a received txt msg is not in order from a earlier date to the most recent txt msg....


please help.
