Re: Signal Strength Low....

ROM does not affect signal strength, only the radio does. I will say though that I have an Airave so I have full call signal in my house, on stock Sprint ROM it shows all 7 bars, when I flash a custom ROM (even adding the 7 bar cab to Mighty) it shows 1-2 bars. When I make or receive a call 1x strength shows full but with the phone just sitting here it shows 1-2 bars. I have always figured it as the custom ROM's are showing data signal strength or something, but it definitely has never affected my calls, texts, data or anything else on my TP or now on my TP2.

yep same here. Only 2 or 3 bars showing. Were as before, always had 5 or more bars.

Havent had that problem. What software are you trying to sync to? Only thing I use is Microsoft Myphone and I havent had any problems. I would resync it and reboot phone I guess. Im new around here though. Probably not a good idea to listen to me. Sorry.

Re: Signal Strength Low....

I believe it has something to do with the ROM's they start with are USCC or Verizon, stock I know USCC only shows 4 bars and I assume Verizon is the same. So there must be a setting/registry value that needs to be changed for it to actually SHOW 6 bars. The 7 bar fix just makes it look right but still does not show more then 4 bars.
