Not seeing all 7 bars
 

Hello group

Installed MightyMike's 7 signal bar cab on top of Spike's micneo taskbar with mightymike's cdma fix and this is that I see for a signal indicator.

All I ever see are 4 bars (haven't climbed a cell tower and stuck the phone in the horn yet, tho ;) ). I know they look thinner than the typical 4-bar icons, but am I missing something? Or do I really have to be right up to a cell tower to get all 7 bars?

As far as I know, there are no working 7 signal bars. It stopped working a while ago.

I experience the exact same thing. I don't think I have ever seen 5 bars, let alone 7.

I, too, have a VZW TP2. I am on the stock rom, but have the updated taskbar and signal strength fix.

The registry entry HKCU\ControlPanel\PhoneExtendFunction\CDMA\SignalS trengthLevel is set to 7, yet all I ever get is 4 bars.

I experienced this as well. Through testing, the only thing that ive found is to install the enclosed version of Mighty's Sprint provisioning and NOT the provisioning within the rom. I dunno whats different between the two (this provisioning cab and the one cooked in Mighty's rom) but all i know is that it worked. I also used mighty's "enable custom taskbar" cab and the "7 bars" cab in conjunction with this provisioning cab and it always worked.

I'm not sure how many bars this is, it's kinda hard to tell but it's certainly more than 4 I think??

oops edit! i have that reg edit for 7 bars done already! do you have a cab or reg edit for the updated taskbar and signal strenth fix? thanks in advance

I'm thinking it has something to do with the ROM installed. All the cabs/regedits seem to do is just give you skinny bars instead of fat ones,

All I did was flash the Dec 17th NRG Dusk ROM & then install the BilboBrian taskbar (I think that's all I did anyway)
