Is anyone able to get anything faster than Edge, ie UTMS 3G speeds, on T-mobile or AT&T on one of these things, here in the US?

I know we now have 3G T-mobile in Lexington, Ky and Louisville, Ky... but I assuming that because of the frequencies supported (900/2100) by the phone, as opposed to the frequencies being set out by T-mobile (1700/2100)... I basically unlocked this guy, almost for nothing... (Ok... outside of the fact, that if I go no a trip, instead of carrying 2 phones, I can just forward all calls to my Sprint number, to the T-mobile number)...

Anyone experiencing GSM\GPRS 3G Data speeds on their Sprint TP2 since they unlocked it?

No, it has been discussed over and over that the radio on the CDMA TP2 will only support EDGE at most. It does not work with the 3G signals sent out by T-Mobile or AT&T.
