Follow these steps in order (very important):

1) Take your TP2 outside, preferably near a busy location like McDonalds.
2) Take out your TP2 and (very important) face north.
3) In a clear, loud voice, look at the TP2 and say "what is your build date?" You may have to repeat this process several times until the TP2's GPS can lock onto the appropriate build date satellites to retrieve data. If you find it's not working, speak louder.
4) Once the build date data has been retrieved from the satellites, your TP2 will announce it's build date (network charges may apply). Write it down and keep it in a safe place.

Not buying it? Darn.

OK, the real way:

Go into the phone dialer. Type in ##778#. Then hit "view". Manufacture date is the third item from the bottom.

GL

Thanks, but whenn I type in ##778# and press call, it will not work
Got an english phone (english kb layout) and I´m using it in Germany...

Re: screen tilt wobbly.... help

it is normal actually, if you watch the cnet reviews of the tp2/tilt2 they mention it and htc said its wobbly to ensure it doesnt break or something to that matter.

@blowy:

You don't have to hit call. As soon as you hit the last #, the menu should come up.

Maybe it's the rom you're using or your carrier.

Re: screen tilt wobbly.... help

Hmm...no, there is no menu coming up.

Device is a free one, with a german cooked rom, and an o2 sim

But, to write something on topic: My screen is moving a bit, too.
I guess its a normal hing (hope so )

Yes, GSM.
Is there a code to see manufacture date, too?
