Dialing phone from computer over bluetooth

I had used a custom ROM before (I don't remember who's) after Bluetooth pairing with my laptop running Win7 that I had the ability to dial my phone from the computer. I also had an earpiece in and it was a great tool to be able to click a phone number in my outlook and the cell phone would dial and connect me automatically. Does anyone know what ROM that was in or how I can replicate that capability again?

I just looked at it and it isn't what I was looking for. When I had the ROM maybe one of energy's I paired my laptop and phone using bluetooth. After doing that I noticed I could dial my phone by clicking on a phone number on my laptops outlook. It was very cool unfortunately the ROM I was using was not very stable and I switched over to another and didn't realize that capability was gone until much later several ROMs later. Does anyone know how I can get that functionality back?

I wish I knew also how to do this. I thought this would have to come through a desktop app such as what you see with Skype in web pages.

Guess I can try flashing a few builds that I have used before and see which one did it. It just showed up when I was goofing around pairing up the phone.
