3.5 mm Jack on Sprint 6.5, Sound Really Low

I connected my 3.5 mm jack to my stero and i noticed that output volume is super low, compared my Touch Pro and TP2 from t-mobile.

Can anyone confirm that this is an issue and not just faulty hardware.

Is there a fix for it?

Try a hard reset. I had issues with my 3.5mm headphone jack but a hard reset fixed everything. Hope it helps! Be sure to back up everything and remove your sd card!

I just recently hooked mine up to my car stereo and had the same issue. I made sure the volume was up on the media player. What I found was that as soon as I hooked up the cable the volume on the phone went down to about half. now after I hook it up I turn it up using the volume buttons on the side of the phone and it's twice as loud.

I've never removed my SD card to do a soft-reset, and no data was ever lost. Is there an issue with 6.5?

Re: 3.5 mm Jack on Sprint 6.5, Sound Really Low

The sound changes on my rom when plugging into the 3.5mm slot.
Mine though actually goes to full volume when plugging into 3.5mm and when I unplug it the volume goes down really low. So you may check your sound settings when plugging into the 3.5mm jack, sound could be auto lowering!
just something you may check!

A soft reset doesn't require you to remove the SD card but a hard reset will erase everything on the device and restore it to default. Always take out your SD card before hand. Hope this clears things up.

I have to disagree. I've always left my card in there, and since my post, just upgrade did the hardspl, ungraded to 6.5, then to Sprint Lover Rom. I didn't lose anything on my card.
