weather doesnt update anymore.
 

Im using the January 13 MightyROM and for some reason the weather just stopped updating all of a sudden. It worked before and now it wont update.

If i choose my own location and update it, it works fine but it wont update the location it finds on its own no matter what. I press update and nothing happens. The location is fine but the update doesnt work.

Any Ideas?

Sounds like the HTC localization may be turned off. Settings | Location. Failing that, have you tried a soft reset? Also, have you tried with WiFi on and connected? Not that that is the fix...just be interesting to know if that method works and non-wifi does not.

Tried all of that and still nothing. Says it was last updated 1 day ago..

Very weird. I can create a location and it works fine but it doesnt work with the location it finds. I press update and nothing. I go to the location I added and press up date and its fine..

It show the right location for me also.

WIFI didnt work either by the way.. I might have to do a hard reset from the looks of it but i would rather figure it out in case it happens again.

Is there anyway to change it so that i can pick the location to use on my home screen?

Do you have Conflipper's weather fix installed? If not try and delete a location then add it back if possible.

it definitely sounds like a location problem... go to the settings tab, tap on "location" then make sure "location service settings" is set to on, "htc location service" is checked, and that the third box "automatically decline location service..." is NOT checked. also make sure quickgps is downloaded and up to date. and as a last resort try launching google maps and see if you can get a gps fix there.

My location works fine. If i create a new location in the weather tab it works fine. The only one not working is the one it makes on its own.

I checks all those things and all is set up fine. If i had hair I would have pulled it out already. lol

And I didnt try and fixes or patches.

i vote for a hard reset lol you said it's picking up your location in google maps right? are you sure it's using gps not agps? --meaning on the top right it's showing how many satellites it's reading.
