Win 7 no sync unless started on phone
Using Windows 7 with WMDC and Sync Center. When I plug phone into USB, it connects (WMDC shows connected), a sync never starts unless I open ActiveSync on the phone and start a sync from there.
How can I get it to sync automatically on connection as it did with WinXP and ActiveSync? Thanks.

I've been investigating further and I found that I did not have ActiveSync in my startup folder. I added a shortcut to it and rebooted. Tried syncing again by plugging in to USB. Nothing happened. Tried to initiate the sync in the Win 7 sync center, it showed device was connected, but then got a message that sync failed. Only when I started the sync on the phone with ActiveSync did I get a successful sync. Any thoughts? Thanks.
