Bricked touch pro2!!!! Help!!!
 

I have a tmobile touch pro 2 and i tried to flash mighty rom impact on it and now it is stuck on the loading screen when it restarts and wont turn on at all, it said intall was succesfull on pc ??????????? WHAT DO I DOOO](*,)

Yeah, he probably flashed a CDMA rom. I've accidentally flashed GSM EnergyROM on my Verizon TP2 and had the same outcome.

As long as you can get to the bootloader (tricolor w/ SPL info) you're OK. Just reflash the stock rom and you'll be fine, you can do it from the bootloader screen without ActiveSync connected.

and the random numbers. Then yes it gets there and i would love to know how to flash my old rom back on it and im guessing it was a cdma rom

my sync center is not connecting with the phone it just sits at that loading screen , the scrren kinda looks like when the old nes or sega games used to mess up

That's the Touch Pro 2 load screen. You want the bootloader, press volume down while pushing the reset button with your stylus.

From there plug it into you PC via USB, make sure it says USB at the bottom and then run the official T-Mo ROM installer.

find a GSM rom... or a stock TM rom..

your best bet is to head over xda-developers for this.

you can only flash GSM roms.

He needs a stock T-Mobile rom for it to allow flashing without ActiveSync established as far as I know.

Good to know...glad it worked out. I know I p*ssed myself when I realized I flashed a GSM rom on my WCDMA :P

like they said earlier in the thread, go to xda-developers.com
it's ppcgeeks but more of a gsm community.
And alot of development starts over there and makes its way here.

1. You need to get your phone to the bootloader (hold down - volume while pressing the soft reset with the stylus, this should present you with a tri-color screen.)

2. Download a rom made for your TP2 GSM (Like the other guys said, head over to XDA Developers).

3. Launch the installr for the ROM. Make sure your phone is connected to the PC via a USB cable and follow the on screen prompts. (Your screen should show %0 then %1 etc.)

4. When the phone reboots you should boot into the custom rom (first boot takes a while so be patient.)
