Contact > Emails - always empty

Before I got the TP2 I thought it was awesome how you could go in a contact and view all the text messages, emails, and calls you made to that person.

The problem is that there is never anything in the emails section. I use GMail and the only time something shows up there is if it is still in my inbox and un-archived. So I went in pocket outlook and changed the settings to download 60 days of the "All Mail" folder, and it downloaded 750 messages. For some reason though the messages don't show up under the contacts. I thought maybe since there are so many messages it will take it a while to filter through them, but after leaving it on all night it's still not there.

Anyone got a solution? I think this feature could be really cool if it worked right!
