Question Accidentally renamed folder (running orig. Sprint stock Rom)

First off let me start by saying HELP and above all… THANKS!!!

It’s a 2fer (I’ve only had my phone for a week today, it’s a replacement for my Mogul) here goes…

1) I accidentally renamed a folder under My Device> Windows> xxxxxxxxxxx))zzzzzx>
some of the contents of the folder are the following: CtrlLog1; GCounterFile; Scheduler…
I would like to rename it back to the original name of course. Also, is it normal from the phone to be slooooooooooow when browsing the Window folder???

This all started because…
2) My stock Sprint Navigation2.1 never worked, so a Tech had me too download TeleNav 5.5 (which is WAY better then the stock vers.). I was attempting to remove the SprintNav from showing up under All Programs listing on my phone since it was no longer valid. The TelNav shows up in the All Program list and I no longer wanted the blah Sprint Navigation (without an icon) to show. I was also, trying to add TelNav 5.5 to be one of the choices to side to from the Home screen.

I was trying to avoid flashing my phone, any assistance it would GREAT!!!

Thanks again,
flexx_uno

Re: Accidentally renamed folder (running orig. Sprint stock Rom)

It's the "Activesync" folder in \Windows

As for your other issues....
-It shouldn't slow down when browsing the Windows folder per-say.. Initial loading of the Windows folder will be slow, and subfolders will also load slow but browsing should not be slow at all.
-You can delete Sprint Navigation from \Program Files as well as the links, located in \Windows\Start Menu\Programs.
-Making the Sprint Navigation tab in Manila work with TeleNav will not work, UNLESS you make the folder structure of TeleNav identical to that of Sprint Navigation. This means that you will have to copy the Sprint Navigation folder in \Program Files to your computer as well as the TeleNav folder and mimic the folder/file structure of Sprint Navigation, then delete Sprint Navigation from \Program Files, and copy TeleNav in its place. (if that makes sense) NOTE: this is only a guess, it may or may not work but is worth a try if you want the Sprint Navigation in Manila to work with TeleNav.

Post results if you decide to try!
