It should work but it may take a bit longer to get a lock with no cell tower info. Be sure to run quick GPS when you get there, maybe that will help.
To check for yourself, simply disable the phone and run your GPS software. Use the Comm Manager to turn the phone off and then launch your GPS package. It should work just fine. If it does here, it should anywhere. Doug M. |

I used it in the Caribbean with no service. You will be fine.

i used my tp1 in england with no service as well. used wifi to update the quickgps though.
