People who upgraded from ORIGNAL touch pro 1... how you like TP2???

Since the TP2 has been out a while now.

What are your opinions from TP1 -> TP2

No more 1 hand navigation?
Size? Too big and thick?
Speed? Same specs=No much difference?
Bigger screen = more finger friendly?
Bigger screen = more battery usage?
Speakerphone loud enough when driving?

What are the cons and pros of the upgrade?

the only things that are cons to me are the missing d-pad and that the stock programs eat so much memory. but those things aren't deal breakers, the tp2 is what the tp should have been.

-I can one-hand navigate for the most part just fine. Be sure to install the rhodium keyboard controller driver to maximize the potential of the little hardware buttons they give us, as well as your keyboard.
-Size is just right. Screen is big, beautiful, and sharp.
-Honestly it seems as though the processor revision may be different, or HTC's drivers are built better, because it is much more snappier/responsive than the TP1.
-Yes.
-Nope. Battery usage has been leaps and bounds better than the TP1.
-Yes, very loud. Louder than the TP1. Even if it isn't loud enough, there is the audiopara hack.

Only cons are missing flash, Widcomm bluetooth stack and less program memory.

Everything else is butter.

the tp2 is a tp with a bigger screen, better keyboard, more memory, less buttons, better heat disapaion, better battery, better processer(same clock speed but it faster then the one in the tp), and last but not least it has gsm support!!!

Re: People who upgraded from ORIGNAL touch pro 1... how you like TP2???

everyone has hit the nail on the head. i love my tp2. im typing this out with it. the only thing i notice now is when i go back and look at the tp1, it makes the tp2 look absolutely huge! but, having this screen more than makes up for it. but, sometimes i like the smaller overall size of the tp1.

Great phone! I just wish i had my camera flash back. That was real stupid of them. They put a stinkin button where the flash shouldve been. I dont even know the function of that damn button. Lol....
