Questions about syncing my calendar with Google

I have been using this service for several weeks now and I love it. I added some extra calendars, like for example all my Orlando Magic game times and dates, also added holidays using the "add other calendar options" However, the only items I get synched to my phone are "events" that I added manually, like doctors appts, lunches, work schedule, etc. Is this normal?

Any information I can be provided would be great.

Just realized my topic may be a little off, my apologies. lol

it has to do with the individual calendars I believe. you can only sync one calendar with active sync, and that one calendar is your personal one. this is my observation and conclusion based on what I've read in the google mobile support areas.

if anyone has any better info please do share as I'd love to sync up other google calendars as well

Re: Questions about syncing my calendar with Google

Yeah, I could benefit from being able to sync multiple calenders. It seems like it would be easy, just combine them onto your phone's calender, and choose which you are amending when creating events from the phone.

Re: Questions about syncing my calendar with Google

You can't do this currently unfortunately, I had this problem the day they came out with this functionality... I resort to syncing my gmail with my work's outlook and then syncing my phone to my outlook account...

Re: Questions about syncing my calendar with Google

I believe there is multi calendar functionality when syncing with Outlook (one Outlook, multiple cals, not one cal and multiple Outlooks). I know you can have multi in Outlook. The other option is to BCC your home email with every work meeting request and accept it on your phone.

what i've done for this is to move the event from the calendar i've added to my personal calendar and it gets synced to my phone (ie: if im going to a bruins game, I will copy that game from the bruins calendar on google to my personal calendar) its a little extra work but definitely gets the event to your phone calendar.
