A new year and a slow phone

With the new year came many problems for my tp2 It freezes twice a day when before I had no problems what so ever and likes to just act up randomly not running programs or anything of the sort. I am running wm 6.5 stock USCC ROM and want to know if their is anything i can do or any tips at all to make my phone better. I have only had the phone for two weeks and love it but it gets frustrating at times. Thank You!
