Swype broke my phone?

I just downloaded and installed Swype. Everything was cool, I was showing it off to my co-workers. I had a couple customers come in with the Y2KX issue, so I popped out my SD card, installed the the file on their phones, soft reset my phone. And all hell broke loose. As I see the splash screen a message pops up about "Fail to load EnglishUS" or something like that. Then my phone wouldnt do anything. It was extremly slow or totally non responsive. After about 10 soft resets I was able to get into the programs and remove it. Ill post if its back to normal in a few

Re: Swype broke my phone?

Did you pop out the SD card while the phone was on? If so, you may have pulled the card while the sys was reading it. You may need to hard reset the phone, re-format the SD card, and re-install everything back on your phone from scratch to fix it

Re: Swype broke my phone?

Yeah the phone was on, I didn't even think about that. I never shut my phone off when I pull the SD . Like I said, I managed to get it to the point where I could remove Swype. I did, everything seems good now. My SD is fine, phone is running fine. Ill try to install Swype again and see what happens.

Re: Swype broke my phone?

Umm ok, Im staying far away from this cab. I just tried it again. Everything was fine until my battery died. I plugged it back in, powered it up, got some error about trying to load the shell. And now I get NOTHING. I plug the phone in, nothing. No lights, absolutely nothing. I dont even think I can get it to hard reset
