unlock code (AT&T Tile 2)

Hello,

AT&T was kind enough to provide me with the unlock code for my GSM phone (AT&T Tilt 2). I do not have a card from another provided available to put in the phone to prompt for the unlock code. Is there another way? Any response would greatly be appreciated.

Just ask a friend who has another provider like Tmobile or something to let you use their SIM card real quick. Just pop it in, put your unlock code in, it unlocks and that's it.

Or.... just go buy a pre-paid $10 SIM chip from Tmobile and pop that in.

how did you get att to give up the un-lock code? did u have to beat anyone? any teeth pulled? smacked in the head? or did u say u were going abroad? what was it?

i want to do the same just for giggles thanks

Call ATT and tell them that you are going abroad, they are going to try to tell you that you can purchase one of their international plan, but tell them that you are going to be working there for some time and you are going to purchase one of their local sim cards to save money and they will give it to you. You might have to tell them once or twice on because they have to try to SELL you the international plan first. Good Luck
