to clear storage or not??
 
i have been reading that it is good to do a hard reset or clear storage ( i assume they are the same since i don;t know how to do a hard reset but only clear storage) the first time i get the phone.

right now i don't have anything on the phone... should i just do it??

could i break my phone of i do clear storage??

clear storage = hard reset


resets back to stock settings. no you cant break your phone.

yes,htc installed a self destruct shortcut on our phones...lol

There is nothing wrong with doing it. Doing a hard reset(clear storage) just resets the phone to default settings and files. Its good to do so that all the phone files are in order. It will not hurt anything.
