disable touchscreen

can i disable the touchscreen while on calls and maybe reactivate it via the hardkeys?? im getting annoyed with my cheeck pressing buttons and dialing and everything

The Proximity sensor should turn off the screen...that is unless your running a ROM that has it disabled....for you that is unfortunate...mine turns off when I have it up to my face, and I'm on the stock ROM....

you should be able to find a dialer with curtains. that should fix the problem.

Phonex can disable the touch screen.

Phonex is alot just for this, there was some sort of tweak for the TP1, search for that and it might work for us too, but disable the proximity sensor first, You can do it with a reg edit.

Your screen should be shutting off when put next to your face...
It has a sensor, why isn't yours working?
