New TP2 owner in about 24 hours!!

I am pretty excited for the TP2. I had so many problem with the TP1 I gave up on that phone and now i am glad I waited.

I just have 2 questions:

1. How do I find out what my build or manufacture date is of the phone on the TP2??

2. Should I put the TP2 in my pocket when I walk around or should i keep it in the sprint box and carry the box around until I get a case??

2. Get a case...I recently dropped my phone and i was sad for a whole day.lol. Most cases are bulky but the key is protection. or soft cases:

There is no difference between a sprint and verizon tp2 phone. I don't use a case or a screen protector. I have a small mark on my screen though. It doesn't bother me though hence the no screen protector.

This cracked me up, thanks for the laugh!!

As far as comparing the Sprint/Verizon phones, the hardware is identical. About the only difference is Sprint put an ugly back cover on theirs full of weird orange holes for some reason, but you can fix that by putting a Verizon cover on it if it bothers you.

Using cases are such a personal decision, and really it all depends upon you and how you use it. I tried to do the hip cases and belt clips a long time ago but all I ended up with was a bunch of broken phones (Big guy + small phones + clumsy = expensive). now I only carry phones in my pockets and have not looked back since, I used to carry a 700wx in my pocket so the TP2 feels pretty slim to me. When it comes down to it, when cases are involved its really going to be your personal preference.

I use a Mogul hip case. Works pretty good. Although my buddy had his TP2's screen fall off the slide track and he swears that the Mogul case caused it..I find his theory crazy, but who knows.

I got a Seidio case, perfect for keeping the phone in my front pocket.
