Help!!! Can't hear ringtone

Help! I can't figure out why I can't hear my ringtones when my phone rings... When I go to phone sounds and notifications and select ringtone, I can hear it with the play button there, but the sound does not come through when the phone actually rings. I've tried changing to different ringtones but I can't hear any of them... It doesn't vibrate when it rings either...it just shows the option to answer...

hard reset ur phone! something u installed may had borked some file involved with the sound !!

Before doing a hard reset on your phone, did you make sure your system and ringer volume was up and not almost muted? Also make sure you don't have your phone on silent in the Setting Tab. May I ask what carrier your on? Hard Reset is only if something is really messed up...this could be a simple fix...and it may not...another thing to try....call tech support and see if they can't help you.

I figured it out... I had installed a black dialer cab and it caused the problem. I uninstalled it and now it's fine... I guess I need to find a less invasive skin for the dialer. Thanks.
