Opera's adaptive zoom drives me crazy
Despite all the fortes of Opera Mobile, its adaptive zoom drives me nuts.
The adaptive zoom functionality is really useful when viewing a page designed for desktop viewing, but it doesn't not result in the optimal zoom when viewing a page designed for mobile viewing.
For example, when I log on to zagat.mobi, which has a very small page width for optimal mobile viewing, Opera zooms up the web page unnecessarily resulting in huge fonts and ironically undisplayed area in the right part of the page.
The funny thing is that Opera does not show this bizarre behavior in my wife's Omnia II. I've tried to set the adaptive zoom configuration the same as my wife's, but it didn't work. I've also tried the new Opera 10 Beta on my Touch Pro2, and the problem exists just the same.
Any suggestions?
